Authentic Chinese food Detroit:

Do you want to try some authentic Chinese food? If so, then head on over to the city of Detroit. The restaurants in this area serve up some tasty dishes that are sure to please even the pickiest palate.

You can find these restaurants scattered all around Detroit with a mixture of prices and styles. Whether you’re looking for a quick lunch or an upscale dinner date, there is something for everyone in this diverse culinary scene.

Do you know about the best Chinese food in Detroit?

If not, we’re going to tell you all about it! Best of China is located on Livernois Ave and has a lot of great reviews. What makes Best of China so great? First off, they deliver right to your door if that’s how you want it.

Second, their prices are unbelievably reasonable for delivery or takeout – especially when compared with other restaurants around Detroit that offer delivery too but charge much more as a result. Best of China might be slightly outside downtown areas (near Gratiot Avenue).

But it is worth the extra drive time because every dish tastes fantastic, and there are plenty of options for vegetarians/vegans and gluten-free eaters.

Best of China has all the traditional Chinese food you love (like sweet and sour chicken, potstickers, or egg foo young), but they also have some more exotic dishes like General Tso’s Chicken with a twist – it is baked instead of fried!

Best Szechuan Restaurant in Detroit:

After doing some research online, there seem to be many people who say that Dan Dan Kitchen has the best Szechuan cuisine around town.

However, it looks like they are only open for dinner hours which leaves out lunchtime diners such as me – therefore, I cannot vouch for their food or service just yet.

Best Dim Sum Restaurants in Detroit:

There seem to be many places to get good Dim Sum food, such as Shanghai Terrace or Oriental Pearl on Jefferson Ave.

However, what is interesting about these two restaurants is the prices – with Oriental Pearl cheaper than Shanghai’s Terrace for some items (but still more expensive for others).

Why not go check out both? It will give you an even better idea of which one might suit your needs or tastes better.

Best Sichuan Restaurant in Detroit:

When it comes down to my favorite restaurant, Fu Lam Mum seems to be at the top of everyone’s list. The Sichuan cuisine here is delicious with just enough spice for me without being too much so that you can’t enjoy your meal anymore.

Many people have said that this is one of their go-to Chinese restaurants when they visit Detroit because everything on offer tastes fantastic.

Best Overall Chinese Restaurant in Detroit:

And the winner is Fu Lam Mum by a landslide! Many people seem to mention this restaurant when asked which place has the best overall experience and taste, making it an easy choice for me.

Also, if you have never tried anything from their Dim Sum menu before, you’re missing out because those dishes can’t beat too! So don’t forget to order up some steamed dumplings or buns because they are so yummy.

Best Cantonese Restaurant in Detroit:

When it comes to my favorite Chinese restaurant, I have to say that Kam Tong has the best Cantonese cuisine around.

They are known for their fantastic seafood dishes, and they also offer up some of the best traditional dim sum items, both of which make this my go-to spot when I’m looking for a good meal.

Best Hot Pot Restaurant in Detroit:

Some people might go with the more traditional Sichuan-style hot pot instead of a Cantonese one, but I still find that the Chinese Palace is my favorite place to eat. They offer up so many different types of soups and broths, making it super easy for anyone because you can try something new every time!

Best Hunan Restaurant in Detroit:

One of the more famous Chinese restaurants around town, Dragon Wok, has been a favorite for many years. It’s known to have some great (and spicy) dishes which are perfect as an appetizer or main course!

They also offer delivery options now with their new online ordering system so that you can call ahead and order food like never before – talk about convenience!

Best Cantonese Restaurant in Detroit:

If you’re looking for something fresh and light, then look no further than The Old Mandarin on Livernois Avenue. Their dim sum is delicious, and they’ve got all sorts of other tasty offerings too – from egg tarts to dumplings to shrimp balls, it sounds pretty good.

Best Hot and Sour Soup in Detroit:

We have a winner! Yang’s Wok has the best hot and sour soup I’ve ever had – actually, it might just be the best soup of any kind that I’ve ever had. The broth is so rich with flavour yet doesn’t leave you feeling heavy after finishing your meal like some other soups can do (I’m looking at you chicken noodle).

It also seemed to me as if they use freshly made noodles which give this dish an authenticity that cannot be replicated through frozen or dried products. If hungry for Chinese food but unsure where to go, look no further than Yang’s Wok on Linwood Ave near Jefferson Avenue!

Best Egg Rolls in Detroit:

I have been on the egg roll hunt for years. When my grandfather was alive, he would always tell me that there were a few things you never order at a Chinese restaurant, and one of them was egg rolls.

He said they are either made with frozen or dried ingredients, which makes it challenging to get the authentic flavour from your dish – but when done well, this appetizer is just as good as any main course item!

My favourite place not only has fantastic eggs rolls, but their General Tso’s chicken is also some of the best around town (you can find out more about yummy dishes by clicking here).

Where is the best Chinese food in Detroit?

The Best Chinese food in Detroit is at the Dragon House, a family-owned restaurant serving authentic Shanghai cuisine for over 40 years. Their menu includes such dishes as Kung Pao Chicken and Sesame Beef with steamed white rice.

If you’ve never tried these foods before, we highly suggest going to one of their many locations and ordering a combination dinner to get your fill of delicious Shanghai cuisine.

What makes it the best Chinese food in Detroit?

Some people might say that the best Chinese food is in New York City, but trust me when I tell you that Detroit has some of the best Chinese food in America.

There are many restaurants here, and each one has its specialty. Whether it’s dumplings or lo mean, there will be something for everyone. Here are a few of my favorites:

Peking Garden -This place is known for its dumpling soup, which combines pork and chicken broth with wonton wrappers filled with minced meat and vegetables to form a tasty soup base.

They also have other traditional dishes like General Tso Chicken and more creative items like Spicy Shrimp Crepes. -Kingston Kitchen -Another great restaurant is Kingston Kitchen.

They have a vast menu with something for everyone. Still, I would suggest ordering Kung Pao Chicken or Mongolian Beef because they are the best dishes their Din Tai Fung -The last restaurant on my list is Din Tai Fung which has several locations in Detroit and one in Ann Arbor. It’s known for its dumplings that come out steaming hot every time you order them.
